Overview

The services will be suspended automatically when the CDS instance of the "monthly/annul" payment mode expires. Within seven days after expiration, the service is automatically shut down and the data are retained, and a renewal notification is sent to users. After the renewal, the system will automatically recover the use of original services. The CDS data resources expiring at least 7 days ago are cleared and cannot be recovered. The users should re-purchase the services.

Note:

• After expiration, the system will send you a renewal reminder, and the data will be retained for you for 7 days, during which no fees will be charged.
• If the disk is mounted, you can uninstall the disk; if the disk hasn't been mounted, you can release the disk, and other operations are prohibited during the arrearage period.
• The CDS data resources expiring at least 7 days ago are cleared. Please renew in time.
• The system will send a notification 1 day before and when the resources are cleared. Please be careful.

Renew Method

Cloud platform currently provides two renewal methods, namely, automatic renewal and manual renewal.

Automatic Renewal

For the users of the prepaid business, we recommend you to subscribe Automatic Renewal Service in order to save your operation time, and avoid the service suspension caused by that you forget renewal when the services expire. The automatic renewal will regularly renew your cloud resources. Deduction will be conducted for the automatic renewal 7 days before the instance expires, and you are reminded by SMS or email no matter the renewal is successful or failed.

Note:

• To subscribe the automatic renewal service, you should ensure your account balance is sufficient;
• If the automatic renewal fails due to that the account balance is insufficient 7 days before expiration, the system will make automatic renewal deduction again 3 days before the expiration. If the deduction is successful, the automatic renewal service is completed in the period; if the deduction is failed, the deduction will be made 1 day before expiration;
• After expiration, the service will be suspended automatically. The automatic renewal is unavailable during the period from the service suspension to the resource retention, and the manual renewal should be conducted by the users;
• If you don't manually renew the resource in one period, the automatic renew is no longer executed.

Renew Manual

When the charging mode of prepaid is used, the CDS instance will be automatically shut down when it expires. The system will not delete your instance and retain it for 7 days. During this period, no fees are collected and the users can select manual renewal.

1.Enter the page of Cloud Disk Storage (CDS) list

Select "Product Service > Baidu Cloud Compute > Disk" and enter the page of "CDS List".

2.Renew

Select the CDS to be renewed and click "Renew" to make renewal.

Note:

• CDS supports the function of batch renewal. In page of "CDS List", check multiple postpaid CDS requiring batch renewal, and click the button of "Renew";
• You can also click the CDS name to enter the details page of the CDS for renewal.
