Stability and Reliability

The data of the Cloud Disk Storage (CDS) are stored in multi replicas in real time. When some storage nodes, storage media or network switchboards fail, the data will be immediately migrated to other nodes. Your access to the data will not be impacted, and not sense the component failure. Meanwhile, the CDS has a higher availability and reliability because it supports the snapshot backup and rollback recovery of CDS instances at any time.

High Performance

The storage node of the CDS and the host of the Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) use the 10 gigabit network. The performance of the hard disk can greatly meet the applications with higher IO and capacity requirements.

High Elasticity

Without the necessity of advanced planning, you can create, mount or uninstall CDS instances on demand in accordance with business requirements to cope with the demand changes of storage capacity in different scenarios.

Mass Storage

Individual CDS instances support the 32TB storage capacity and the mounting of a maximum of 5 CDS instances to the same BCC to realize the storage capacity of mass data.
