Overview

When creating the Cloud Disk Storage (CDS), you can select to complete creation by snapshots. If having created several snapshots, you can directly create CDS from the snapshots. This operation is usually used for data recovery and backup.

Operation guide

1.Log in to cloud platform

Log in to official website.

• In case you are not registered, you must first register account.
• Registered, direct login.

2.Log in to the BCC console

On the left of the console, select "Product Service > Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) " to enter the page of BCC instance list. Click "Disk" on the left of the page to enter the page of Cloud Disk Storage list.

Or you can also select the left "Product Service > Cloud Disk Storage (CDS) " after login to directly enter the page of CDS list.

3.Create Disk

Click "Create CDS" to enter the page of "Create a cds disk".

4.Select the configuration information

5.Select to create CDS from a snapshot

Select the required snapshot in the pop-up box. The size of the disk created by you must be greater than or equal to that of the snapshot.

6.Select the purchased duration

If selecting the prepayment mode, please select the purchased duration and set whether to enable the automatic renewal function.

7.Confirm the order and pay

Click "Next" to carefully confirm the order, and pay. The disk will be created in about 5 minutes.
