Log in to official website.

- If you have registered an account, you can directly "Login".
2.Enter the page of disk list
In the left navigation bar in the console page, select "Baidu Cloud Compute > Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC)" to enter the BCC console, and click the left "Disk" to enter the page of disk list; or directly select "Cloud Disk Storage (CDS)" on the left of the console to directly enter the page of disk list.
3.Select and mount the disk
In the disk list, click the button of "Mount" in the operation bar of the disk to be mounted for mounting.
You can also click the disk name to enter the details page of the disk, and click "Mount" for operation.
In the pop-up, select the instance to be mounted, and click "Confirm".
Note:
- The mounted disk and the instance must be in the same available zone in the same region. If they are not in the same zone, the instance cannot be searched when the disk is mounted;
- If you haven't created the BCC instance in the available zone where the CDS is located, please enter the BCC console to create the instance and then mount it;
- After being mounted/uninstalled, the CDS often faces the drive letter drift phenomenon. You can query the drive letter of the disk by the
grep ./sys/block/vd*/serial
command. The drive letter queried by the command is not impacted by the disk mounting/unloading, and it is a permanent drive letter.
4.Format the disk
After mounting, the "Status" in the disk list changes to "Mounted". Before use, you should Format Cloud Disk Storage (CDS). The disk can be used only after being formatted.
5.Finish
After the above operations, the disk is mounted to the corresponding instance and can be used.
