Is it safe to store data with CDS cloud disks?

CDS cloud disks provide secure data isolation. CDS data from different tenants is isolated, effectively ensuring data safety. Additionally, the multi-replica mechanism prevents data losses caused by hardware failures, further enhancing data security.

If a separately purchased disk is mounted to a server: Will the disk be deleted if the disk expires first while the server remains active? What is the retention period?

Yes, the disk will be deleted. The handling of CDS after expiration is as follows: After expiration, the system will send you a renewal reminder, and your data will be retained for 7 days free of charge during this period.CDS data resources that have been expired for more than 7 days will be cleared and cannot be recovered. The system will send notifications 1 day before resource cleanup and when resource cleanup is performed.
