The data in CDS cloud disks remains unaffected. Users can store temporary data on the BCC instance's local disk and use the CDS cloud disk for data that requires long-term retention.
What impact will deleting a cloud server instance have on the mounted CDS disks?
The CDS cloud disk operates independently of cloud server instances. Deleting a cloud server instance will not impact the data stored on the CDS cloud disk. Upon deletion, the system will automatically end the mounting relationship between the CDS cloud disk and the server.
How to handle an abnormal offline state of a cloud disk in a Windows system?
In a Windows system, the cloud disk may go offline due to issues with the system, network, or other factors. To resolve this, follow these steps to bring the cloud disk back online:
- Open Server Manager > Tools > Computer Management, and check in disk management whether there is any disk that is not online


- After confirming that the disk is offline, click the position indicated by the arrow to bring it online
