Monitor alarm

Updated at:2025-11-03

View monitor

Disk monitor data can be accessed in the BCM console, on the cloud disk server (CDS) details page, or the BCC instance details page.

Currently supported metrics

Metric name Metric meanings Unit Granularity
Read throughput Average read throughput during the counting cycle MBps 60s
Write throughput Average write throughput during the counting cycle MBps 60s
Read operations Average read IOPS during the counting cycle Time 60s
Write operations Average write IOPS during the counting cycle Time 60s
Error IO Count of error IOs during the counting cycle Time 60s

Viewing Method 1: Go to the Baidu Cloud Monitor (BCM) console.

Viewing Method 2: Enter Product Services > Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) > Disk, click the cloud disk server (CDS) instance you want to view, and you can view the monitor data chart on the cloud disk server (CDS) details page. On this page, you can view the current read/write throughput, read/write times, and error IO information of the cloud disk server (CDS).

Alarm Management

Alarms can be set for monitored data on the cloud disk server (CDS). If a monitored value surpasses the defined threshold, an SMS or email notification will be sent to the designated recipient.

View alarm details

On the CDS Disk Details page, click on Alarm Details to navigate to the Alarm Management subpage.
