Product features
Backup and recovery
The snapshot feature in CDS allows users to create efficient backups of data at any time, enabling data restoration from a chosen snapshot point whenever needed.
Capacity planning-free
Users don't need to prepay for future capacity requirements or commit to long-term usage. They only pay for the capacity and performance they currently need and can quickly scale up capacity as their business grows.
Secure and reliable
CDS offers flexible access control policies, allowing users to securely manage their stored data. Additionally, its distributed multi-replica redundancy and flexible snapshot backup functions ensure protection against component failures.
Independent persistence
Users can detach a mounted CDS storage volume from a cloud server instance at any time and then carry out other binding actions. An unbound CDS can be attached to any cloud server instance, with the cloud disk data preserved even if that instance is deleted.
Massive storage
Each CDS instance currently supports up to 32 TB of capacity. Users can mount multiple CDS instances to a cloud server according to storage requirements, meeting large-scale data storage needs. Furthermore, as a block-level device service, CDS imposes no specific data structure requirements, enabling storage of massive static or dynamic data in any format.
Multiple disk types
CDS provides multiple disk types to support I/O storage services for different scenarios. You can directly create a suitable cloud disk for data storage based on business needs. When your business changes, you can perform online changes to the type and capacity of the cloud disk.
