Overview

Users of prepaid service are recommended to enable the automatic renewal service, in order to save the operating time and avoid service stop due to forgotten renewal when the service expires. The automatic renewal will regularly renew your cloud resources. Deduction will be conducted for the automatic renewal 7 days before the instance expires, and you are reminded by SMS or email no matter the renewal is successful or failed.

Please note the following details, which might be related to your service:

• To subscribe the automatic renewal service, you should ensure your account balance is sufficient .
• If the automatic renewal fails due to that the account balance is insufficient 7 days before expiration, the system will make automatic renewal deduction again 3 days before the expiration. If the deduction is successful, the automatic renewal service is completed in the period . if the deduction is failed, the deduction will be made 1 day before expiration;
• After expiration, the service will be suspended automatically. The automatic renewal is unavailable during the period from the service suspension to the resource retention, and the manual renewal should be conducted by the users.
• If you don't manually renew the resource in one period, the automatic renew is no longer executed.
• Within seven days after the expiration, BCC will be automatically shut off and the data will be retained. Renewal notice will be sent to the user. After the renewal, the system will automatically recover the use of original services. When it expires for more than seven days, BCC data resources will be cleared and can not be recovered. The users should re-purchase the services.

Activate automatic renewal

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Management Console.
2. On the console homepage, click "Finance" in the upper right corner to enter the "Finance Center" > "Finance Overview" page.

3. Click the number of "To-do list" > "Instances to be Renewed" to enter the "Renewal Management" page:

   

   Or click "Renewal Management" in the navigation bar on the left to enter the page.

   

4. Select your product service, check the instances (one or more) to be automatic renewaled, and click "Set automatic renewal". Take the Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) as an example. See the following figure:

5. In the pop-up for automatic renewal, select the automatic renewal cycle you need (by year or month) and click "OK".
6. After successful enabling of automatic renewal, the system will send an SMS and e-mail notification.

Modify the Automatic Renewal Cycle

If you have opened automatic renewal and need to modify the automatic renewal cycle, the operation steps are the same as that of opening.

Cancel the Automatic Renewal

To cancel the automatic renewal service, select the instances with automatic renewal enabled and click "Cancel".

After canceling the automatic renewal, please notice the expiration of cloud resources to avoid service stop due to arrears.
