It supports to reset the login password of instances on the console.

Note: Resetting the password restarts the server and stops the server for a few minutes. To ensure that your service is not affected, prepare for it before you confirm to perform this operation.

Precaution

• The instance must be in the Stopped or Running status.
• The password can not be reset for the instance in the scaling group.
• The password can not be reset in batch.

Operation Steps

Change the login password of instances on the console by following the steps below:

1. Log in to the Baidu AI Cloud Admin console, and then select "Product Service" > "Computing" > "BCC".
2. Select the region of BCC. Select the instance in the BCC list.
3. Select "More" > "Instance Settings" > "Reset Password" in the action bar.

4. Enter a new password conforming to rules in the pop-up dialog.

   Password	The password length range is 8-32 characters. The password must contain letters, numbers and symbols, and the symbols are only limited to !, @, #, $, %, ^, * and ().	Inst12#@

5. Click "OK" to confirm the password.
6. You need to enter the mobile verification code for the secondary verification, and then click "OK" again.

7. To make the new password take effect:

   • For the existing BCC in the Running status, the system restarts automatically, and then the new password takes effect.
   • For the existing BCC in the Stopped status, you can start the instance manually, and then the new password takes effect.

Click "Reset Password" on the "Instance Details" page to reset the login password of instances.
