Deployment Set Overview
A deployment set is a policy that controls the distribution of BCC instances, so as to enable you to design disaster recovery capacity and availability when creating the BCC instances.
Deployment Policy
The deployment set supports highly available deployment policy. The highly available deployment policy is to place a set of BCC instances on different underlying hardware, thus ensuring the high availability of the services.
- After you use the highly available policy, all BCC instances in the deployment set are strictly distributed on different physical machines within a specified geographic region.
- With the highly available policy, a BCC instance may not be created due to tight resource within the region.
Use Limit
Before using the deployment set, you shall pay attention to the following points:
project | description |
---|---|
deployment set | The deployment set takes the region as dimension, and 10 deployment sets can be created in one single region. |
Mutual combination among deployment sets are not supported. | |
instance | When you create instances in the deployment set, a maximum of 10 sets of BCC instances can be created an available zone; the number of BCC instance that can be created in a cloud platform is 10 times the number of the available zone in the current region. |
An instance cannot be set in multiple deployment sets at the same time. | |
Currently, it is supported to add the created instances to the deployment set. |
