          Cloud Database MONGODB

          From Prepaid to Postpaid

Users can change the billing mode for the MongoDB instances from prepaid to postpaid (pay as you go) according to their business requirements. The change in the billing mode does not influence the running of the instance.

          Prerequisites

          • The instance status is running.
          • The billing type of the instance is prepaid.
          • The instance has no prepaid-postpaid orders whose payment is pending.

          Considerations

          • You can change the prepaid instances to the postpaid mode. To avoid wasting your resources, the system can change to the postpaid mode automatically after the prepaid mode expires. Also, before the expiration of the prepaid mode, you can cancel the prepaid-to-postpaid change.
          • If the instance has a prepaid-to-postpaid order whose payment is pending, you need to cancel it on the order management page first, and then perform the prepaid-to-postpaid change again.

          Operating Steps

          1. Log in to the MongoDB management console.
          2. In the upper left corner of the page, select the region where the instance resides.
          3. In the left navigation bar, click the Replica Cluster Instance List or Sharded Cluster Instance List.
Find the target instance, and click the Instance ID to enter the Instance Details page.
          4. In the Payment Information area, click Change Billing Mode, as shown in the figure below:

          1. Enter Order-Prepaid to Postpaid interface, and then click Next. After the system expires, the instance changes to the postpaid mode automatically.

          Descriptions:
&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp At this moment, the system generates a postpaid order. If the order payment is pending, you cannot purchase new instances or change the billing mode from prepaid to postpaid. You can pay or cancel the order on the “Order management” page.
