Automatic Backup of MongoDB Data

The cloud database MongoDB supports automatic backup. Users can set a backup policy according to their business requirements. Therefore, the system can back up the database automatically, ensuring data security.
Introduction to Automatic Backup Policy
The automatic backup policy of the cloud database MongoDB consists of the following items:
Configuration Item | Description |

Automatic backup | You can specify whether to enable or disable the automatic backup feature of an instance. By default, the automatic backup feature is Disabled. |
Backup time | Designate the automatic backup start time. |
Backup period | Set the days for automatic backup within a week. |
Retention duration | The data retention duration is seven days and cannot change. |
Descriptions:
- After the creation of a database instance, the automatic backup is not enabled by default. Users need to enable it.
- By default, the backup period is not checked. When you need to modify the backup policy, select at least one day of a week.
Operating Steps
- Log in to the MongoDB Management console.
- In the upper left corner of the page, select the region where the instance is located.
- In the left navigation bar, click Replica Cluster Instance List.
- Find the target instance, and click the instance ID to enter the instance feature page.
- Click Backup on the left navbar.
- Click Automatic Backup Setting, as shown in the figure below:
- In the popup dialog box, adjust the backup setting according to your business requirements, as shown in the figure below:
- Complete the above parameter configuration and then click OK.
