Create Replica Cluster Instance

You can create a replica cluster instance by MongoDB management console. This article introduces the specific operating process.
Prerequisites
- To create an instance of a prepaid method, the account cash balance is required to be greater than or equal to the instance fee.
Operating Steps
- Log into the MongoDB management console.
- In the upper left corner of the page, select the region where the instance resides.
- In the left navbar, click Replica Cluster Instance List.
- On the Replica cluster instance list” page, click New Instance.
- Select the instance configuration. The parameter description is as follows:

| Payment and region | Payment method | Support two payment methods: Prepaid (on an annual or a monthly basis) and postpaid (pay-as-you-go). |
| Current Region | The geographic location where the instance belongs. As private networks of instances in different regions are not interconnected, you can not change the region once you have created an instance. Please take care to choose the region. | |
| Availability zone | The availability zone refers to the physical zone where electricity and network are independent of each other in the same zone. | |
| Configuration | Database version | The database versions supported by the replica set instance include versions 3.4 and 3.6. |
| Storage engine | It is is fixed as the WiredTiger storage engine. | |
| Specifications | CPU and Memory Specifications Allocated to the Instance. | |
| Network type | VPC and subnet information to which the instance belongs. | |
| Storage disk | The storage space exclusive to each node in the replica set instance. | |
| Number of Read-only Nodes | Select the Number of Read-only Nodes of the Replica Set Instance According to Business Requirements. | |
| System information | Instance name | You can specify a name for the instance, which is randomly generated by default. |
| Administrator password | You can set a password for the root account during the creation. You can also obtain a randomly-generated password, and then reset the password. | |
| Purchase information | Duration | In the prepaid mode, you can choose the duration. |
| Number of purchases | Number of instances purchased. The batch purchase is not supported currently. | |
| Automatic renewal | In the prepaid mode, you can select the automatic renewal to ensure that the instance will not be shut down due to arrears. | |

- Click Next and follow the prompts to complete the payment process.
