From Postpaid to Prepaid

Users can change the billing mode for the MongoDB instances from post-paid to pre-paid (on an annual or a monthly basis) according to their business requirements. The change in the billing mode does not influence the running of the instance.
Prerequisites
- The instance status is running.
- The billing mode of the instance is post-paid.
- The instance does not have a purchase order whose payment is still pending.
Operating Steps
- Log in to the MongoDB management console.
- In the upper left corner of the page, select the region where the instance resides.
- In the left navigation bar, click the Replica Cluster Instance List or Sharded Cluster Instance List.
- Find the target instance, and click the Instance ID to enter the Instance Details page.
- In the Payment Information area, click Change Billing Mode, as shown in the figure below:
- Enter the Order - Postpaid to Prepaid interface, select the Duration for the instance, and then click Next, as shown in the following figure:
- Enter the order support interface, and then click Go to payto complete the change in the billing mode.
Description:
       At this moment, the system generates a prepaid order. If failed to pay the order, you cannot buy a new instance or change the billing mode to the prepaid. You can pay or cancel the order on the “Order management” page.
