Site Monitor Pricing
Billing for site monitoring begins on January 31, 2023.
Charge item
Site monitoring charges are based on the number of probes used. Two editions are available: Trial Edition and Expert Edition. The Trial Edition is free but subject to limits on usage time and probe count. The Expert Edition offers both postpaid and prepaid resource package options, each with varying pricing.
Billing mode
To improve your experience, a 15-day trial is provided by default. Once the trial ends or the free credit quota is exceeded, site monitor tasks will automatically stop probing. To keep using the service, activate the Expert Edition. After activation, you'll receive 50,000 free probes per month, and you can purchase additional prepaid resource packages at discounted rates. For details, see the following sections.

Note: Once the Expert Edition is activated, any remaining free credit quota from the trial period will no longer be valid.

The expert edition charge type including postpaid and prepaid resource packages, detailed as follows:

- Free credit quota: 50,000 free probes per month (applicable only for scheduled probes). Starting the month after activating the Expert Edition, quotas will be granted on the 1st of each month and expire at the end of that same month.

Billing rules
- Usage restrictions: Support cumulative purchase of resource packages. Once the credit quota is exhausted, billing will switch to a pay-as-you-go model.

Instructions for use
- Usage Restrictions: Valid only for scheduled probes. Instant probes and IP advanced fault diagnosis are not eligible for deductions using resource package quotas.
- Validity period: The resource package takes effect immediately upon purchase. The expert edition is activated by default and takes effect on the purchase day. It is used to offset detection counts during the validity period. It cannot be used to offset historical detections having occurred. The validity period of a single resource package is the natural month of the purchase period. After the resource package expires, the remaining quota of the package will automatically become invalid.
Example: If you have purchased a basic package on February 18, 2023 at 10:00 and paid for 1 month, this resource package will expire on March 18, 2023 at 10:00, and the remaining quota of the package will automatically become invalid. - Deduction Order: The current month's free quota will be used first. Once it is used up, deductions will follow the quota expiration sequence.
- Configuration Change: Resource packages do not accommodate configuration changes. If the remaining quota is insufficient, promptly purchase a new resource package.
Service cease notice
- Trial Version Expiration Notice: The site monitor service will stop functioning once the trial period ends or the free credit quota is used up. After upgrading to the expert edition, manually select the scheduled probe tasks to restart and click the Enable button to activate them.
- Debt Notice: If the account has outstanding debt and probe tasks are postpaid, all monitor tasks will be halted. Once the account is recharged, manually select the scheduled probe tasks to restart and click the Enable button to activate them.
