Purchase Shared Bandwidth
EIPGROUP enables region-wide bandwidth sharing and multiplexing, allowing multiple EIPs to share a combined network capacity. By leveraging EIPGROUP during varying traffic peak times, public internet access costs can be reduced.
An EIPGROUP consists of one public network bandwidth and a group of public IPs. Different from the one bandwidth allocation per IP model of the EIP, all public IPs in an EIPGROUP can share the same bandwidth, thereby increasing bandwidth usage flexibility and reducing public IP management complexity. Upon creation of an EIPGROUP, users can flexibly add/remove EIPs to/from the EIPGROUP based on business scenarios to rationally plan network resources.
Each user can create up to 10 EIPGROUPs. To request additional quotas, apply in Quota Management.
Operation steps
- Log in to the Management Console and go to the EIP service.
- Navigate to EIPGROUP in the menu and click on "Create EIPGROUP Package."
- Fill in the EIPGROUP configuration details.

| Count of purchased public IPs | Each EIPGROUP configuration corresponds to a proportional IP count. Users can increase the IP count as needed: Standard BGP: The maximum number of EIPGROUP IPs for bandwidth-based prepayment and postpay billing <= public network bandwidth (M)/2M; The maximum number of EIPGROUP IPs for postpay-monthly 95th percentile billing <= committed bandwidth (M)/2M. Enhanced BGP: For prepaid and postpaid by-bandwidth EIPGROUPs, maximum IPs ≤ public network bandwidth (M)/20M; for postpay-95th percentile billing, max IPs ≤ guaranteed bandwidth (M)/20M. For example, a 100M Standard BGP EIPGROUP under postpay-monthly 95th percentile billing has a default guaranteed bandwidth calculated as 20% of the bandwidth limit. Users can configure up to 10 EIPs for this EIPGROUP. |
| Configure TBSP | If not enabled, basic DDoS protection is provided for free by default. Enabling this will provide enhanced DDoS protection for purchased public IPs. Users may also choose to enable this later and add existing Public IPs after purchase is complete. |

- Click "Confirm Order" and follow the steps to complete your payment.
- Once the purchase is successful, view the EIPGROUP instance list. The created shared public IPs will also be displayed in the EIP instance list at the same time.
