Shared bandwidth supports prepaid and postpaid payment methods. The prepayment adopts the annual and monthly billing method, and the post-payment includes billing by bandwidth and billing by enhanced 95 (charged by enhanced 95 is a whitelist function. Billing Formula

Cost = Unit price for IP address rent × Duration + Guaranteed bandwidth price × Guaranteed bandwidth × Duration + Enhanced 95 bandwidth price × Monthly peak bandwidth (without the guaranteed minimum bandwidth) × Effective days in a month / Total days in a month

Guaranteed Minimum Bandwidth The guaranteed minimum bandwidth is the product of the purchased shared bandwidth peak value multiplied by the guaranteed minimum ratio. The guaranteed minimum ratio is 20% by default. For example, if the purchased shared bandwidth has a peak value of 100 Mbps, the guaranteed minimum bandwidth is 20 Mbps.

Monthly Peak Bandwidth

  • Daily peak value: Sampling at a granularity of 5 minutes, push max{inbound traffic, outbound traffic} every minute, and calculate the average bandwidth within 5 minutes. After getting all the sampling points every day, sort them from high to low, remove the first 4 highest sampling points, and take the fifth peak as the daily peak.
  • Monthly peak bandwidth: Sort the daily peaks from highest to bottom at the end of the month, take the top 5 highest daily peaks, and calculate their average to get the monthly average peak.

Effective Days per Month

Actual number of days the instance exist in a natural month. For example, if you purchase a shared bandwidth charged by enhanced 95 on January 1, 2020, and release it on January 10, 2020, the effective number of days per month is 10.

Descriptions:

  • The guaranteed minimum bandwidth price is the same as the monthly peak bandwidth price exceeding the guaranteed minimum bandwidth. The guaranteed minimum bandwidth is billed at the granularity of minutes. The monthly peak bandwidth exceeding the guaranteed minimum bandwidth is billed on the basis of the effective days in a month. For example, on January 1, 2021, a shared bandwidth of 100 Mbps was purchased in the North China-Beijing region, and the guaranteed ratio was 20%. At that time, the guaranteed bandwidth was 20 Mbps, so the guaranteed bandwidth cost per minute is equal to 105/30/24/ 60×20=0.0486 yuan. If the bandwidth was released on January 10, 2020, the system performed peak-cutting settlement based on your actual bandwidth. If the calculated monthly average peak value is less than or equal to the guaranteed bandwidth (20Mbps), you do not need to pay peak bandwidth fees. If the calculated monthly average peak value is greater than the guaranteed bandwidth and supposing that the peak value is 50Mbps, you need to pay the bandwidth fee the actual bandwidth minus the guaranteed bandwidth. The actual bandwidth minus the guaranteed bandwidth is 50Mbps-20Mbps=30Mbps. The actual duration in January is 10 days, and the monthly peak bandwidth fee for the actual bandwidth minus the guaranteed bandwidth is 30×10/31×105=1016.13 yuan.
