Product pricing
Cloud Smart Network (CSN) provides one-point access and full-network connectivity for network instances. The fee for network instance connection depends on the regions of the network instances and is not tied to the accounts the instances belong to (i.e., cross-account authorization for instance access permissions is supported). Connections within the same region are free, with a default maximum bandwidth of 100 Gbps that can be customized. To establish high-traffic connections between cross-region network instances, you need to purchase a bandwidth package and configure cross-region bandwidth settings.
Description:
- The product includes a free default bandwidth of 10 Kbps to test cross-region network instance connectivity using the Ping method.
Billing mode
Billing rules
- Bandwidth packages offer two billing options: subscription-based billing and daily peak bandwidth billing.
- Each bandwidth package comes with a "connection type" attribute, which can either be "Chinese mainland" or "cross-border." This selection is final and cannot be changed after purchase, so please plan carefully.
- Each network instance associated with the CSN incurs two fees: a transit gateway connection fee and a transit gateway inbound traffic fee.
Description:
- Chinese mainland: This includes regions such as North China - Beijing, North China - Baoding, East China - Suzhou, East China - Shanghai, among others.
- Cross-border: Includes regions like Hong Kong (China). Currently, cross-border bandwidth packages are available only in the prepaid mode.
Billing formula
Cost = Bandwidth specification × Unit price × Usage duration

Bandwidth packages have different billing standards for “Chinese mainland” and “Cross-border” types. For specific pricing information, please refer to CSN Pricing Details.
Expiration reminders and handling
- Expiration reminder: Notifications regarding the impending expiration of bandwidth packages will be sent 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day prior to the expiration date.
- Post-expiration action: Services will be immediately suspended upon expiration, and a service suspension notice due to debt will be sent.
Insufficient balance reminders and debt handling
-
Insufficient balance reminder:
- The system checks if your account balance (including available coupons) is enough to cover the next three days' costs based on your bill amount from the past three days. If the balance is insufficient, a renewal reminder will be sent.
- The system checks if your account balance (including available coupons) is enough to cover the next day's costs based on your bill amount from the past day. If the balance is insufficient, a renewal reminder will be sent.
-
Debt handling:
- At the start of every hour, Beijing Time, the system checks if your account balance can cover the current bandwidth package bill (e.g., at 11:00 Beijing Time, it checks if the balance is sufficient to pay the bill from 10:00 to 11:00). If not, it results in a debt, and a debt notification will be sent.
- If a debt occurs, services will be suspended immediately, and a service suspension notice due to debt will be sent. The bandwidth package will be retained for 7 days at no additional cost. If no recharge is made within 7 days, it will be deleted. The system will send a release notice one day before and at the time of release.
