Create Thumbnail Job

Overview

This document introduces you the related operations of thumbnail jobs, including creating the thumbnail jobs and viewing the job details.

Precondition

Before creating the thumbnail job, templates must be added; there is no default template in the system, so the users should add by themselves.
Before creating a thumbnail job, please confirm to Create Job Pipeline, and Upload and Store the videos to process in BOS.

Create Thumbnail Mission

Confirm to Create job Pipeline and Upload and Store the videos to process to BOS, create the thumbnail job.

Operation Steps

1.Log in MCT Console.

2.Select job Management > Thumbnail Jobs in the left navigation bar , enter “Thumbnail job” page.

3.Click Create Thumbnail Job to enter “Create Thumbnail job”

4.Configure the basic parameters on the “Create Thumbnail Job " page, select the corresponding job queue, input video and thumbnail templates, and fill in the output file name.

5.If you do not need advanced parameter configurations, click the button Create Now to create the job successfully, and then enter the job list.

6.If you need to configure advanced parameters, click Next button and enter the configuration of advanced parameters.

The watermark removal setting can be selected to remove the watermark automatically, or enter the coordinate position of the watermark manually to remove the watermark
For the black-edge removal settings, enter the coordinate position of effective video to remove the black edge.

7.Complete advanced parameter configuration, click Create Now button, and enter the job list after creating the job successfully.

View Job Details

After creating the job successfully, the user can view the detailed information of the job on the detailed page of the job. Including job running status, basic information, input/output information, configuration and other information.
