(Optional) Create Transcoding Preset

The transcoding preset is a set of configuration for specific parameters of transcoding, and currently, it supports custom presets and the built-in transcoding preset of the system. If the transcoding presets provided by the system cannot satisfy the transcoding requirements, you can customize the transcoding presets through the console, API and SDK.

Operation steps

1.Log in Video-Audio Processing Console.

2.Click Product Configuration > Transcoding Preset on the Navbar to the left to enter the page of Transcoding Preset.

3.Click the button Create Transcode Preset, and enter the Create Transcode Preset Page.

4.You can enter corresponding contents in a blank preset, or select one system preset, and modify it on its basis to complete the creation of a custom transcoding preset.

Create Transcoding Job

The transcoding job, meaning a job for completing the AV transcoding operation. You need to select a job queue for each transcoding job, provide the BOS path where the source audio and video are located and the name of target audio and video, and select a transcoding preset to complete the transcoding requirements of specific specifications.

Operation steps

1.Log in Video-Audio Processing Console.

2.Click job Management>Transcoding job on the Navbar to the left, and click Create a New Transcoding job in the list of job queue.

3.Create Transcoding job on the page, input the corresponding information.

4.After inputting, click Create Now to complete transcoding job creation.

5.Enter "Create job List", if the status of transcoding job is changed to Succeed, it indicates that the transcoding succeeds.

(Optional) CDN Video Acceleration

After completing the transcoding, you can also use Baidu CDN acceleration service to the target audio and video files stored on BOS bucket With full acceleration, achieve the fast distribution of target audio and video files. You can execute whole network acceleration in the BOS bucket of the target audio and video through the console, details see CDN Acceleration Release
