Introduction

AV transcoding mainly provides the transcoding service of the audios and videos; the input and output rely on Baidu Object Storage (BOS), and CDN accelerated distribution relies on Baidu AI Cloud CDN service; the transcoded video play follows the standard specification, you can use the commonly used player and the player provided by Baidu AI Cloud as well.

AV transcoding presets a series of system built-in transcoding templates, and the user can select the transcoding parameter configuration through the pull-down list to transcode. If the system template cannot satisfy your requirement, you can operate the console or API method to customize the parameter transcoding to realize your requirement. Please refer to API Reference for details.

Precondition

• You should register Baidu AI Cloud account, and enable object storage service (create bucket to get access privilege).
• You have to complete identity authentication, otherwise you cannot create a bucket.
• (Optional) Apply for CDN service.

Operating procedures

1.Use BOS Console/API/SDK to make the source AV files Upload Files to BOS, as the input of the transcoding task.

2.Select Transcoding Template according to the specification requirements of target output audio and video files.

3.Submit transcoding tasks to Create Pipeline, transcoding output.

4.The output results are stored in the output Bucket corresponding to the task queue selected by the user.
