Elastic IP supports putting the instance actively released by users to recycle bin for management.

Recycling instance

• The EIP instances of prepayment expiration and postpaid arrearage do not enter recycle bin, but are released permanently after being retained in the list for 7 days.
• The EIP actively released by users is put in the recycle bin for management.
• The EIP instances that can be released by users actively include prepayment expiration, postpaid-by traffic, postpaid-by traffic.

Retain instances

• The instances entering the recycle bin are retained for 7 days.
• After instances enter recycle bin, the binding relationship is forced to be released, and reconfiguration is needed after recovery of instances.
• If the instance of the recycle bin does not resume billing within the time limit, it will be released permanently.

Note:

• EIP instances in recycle bin occupy user quota, and if determined not to be used any longer, the resources in recycle bin can be released permanently.
• The EIP in recycle bin has a quota limitation, and by default, 10 EIPs are retained in the recycle bin of each region, reversed in chronological order. When the number of EIPs in the recycle bin is up to 10, the new EIPs squeeze out the previous ones.

Recover instance

1.Log in to Baidu AI Cloud Console. 2.Select "Product Service > Elastic IP > Recycle bin", and then enter the recycle bin page. 3.Select "Region". 4.View instance information in recycle bin. 5.Click "Recover Billing" to complete the payment of renewal, and the instance is transferred from the recycle bin to instance management list.
