Overview
The DRDS has strong flexibility in expansion, so it is suitable for linear pricing according to the storage node memory disk, read-only node memory disk, and the number of proxy nodes respectively.
Billing formula
DRDS cluster price = Storage node price + read-only replica price + proxy node price. Where,
- Storage node price = Number of storage nodes * (storage node memory unit price * storage node memory + storage node disk unit price * storage node disk)
- Read-only replica price = Number of storage nodes * number of read-only copies * (read-only replica memory unit price * read-only replica memory + read-only replica disk unit price * read-only replica disk)
- Proxy node price = Proxy node unit price * number of proxy nodes
Fee = DRDS cluster price * time

Note: For the DRDS, one proxy node has 2 cores and storage capacity of 4 G.
Price example:
The price of 8 proxy middlewares (i.e., 16 cores, 32 G) + 4 storage nodes of 300 G storage disk (16 G memory) + 2 read-only copies of 300 G storage disk (16 G memory)
＝ 400 x 8 + 4 x (108 x 16 + 1 x 300) + 4 x 2 x (54 x 16 + 0.5 x 300) = 19424 CNY/month.
Expiration reminder and processing
- Expiration reminder: The system will send the expiration reminder to you by short message and email 7 days, 3 days, and 1 day before expiry of the cloud database DRDS instance.
- Expiration processing: The service is stopped immediately upon expiration, and the resources will be reserved for 7 days before deletion. The system will send you a reminder by short message and email one day before service stop and resources deletion.
