Overview

Personal authentication includes primary personal identity verification and advanced identity verification.

• The primary personal identity verification is to authenticate through name, ID No. and photo of ID card, among which the name and ID No. will be compared with those in the database of the public security at the backend background, with the comparison results given, and then the auditor will check them manually to ensure the consistency of the three. Upon the approval of the review, the primary identity verification is approved.
• Advanced identity verification takes the primary identity verification as basis. After passing the primary identity verification, the user can use Baidu AI Cloud APP to complete the real-person verification, and the advanced identity verification is approved upon the successful verification.

Individual Primary Identity Verification

You can complete your personal primary identity verification on PC end, or complete the authentication by using Baidu AI Cloud APP.

Personal Identity Verification on PC End

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Management console.

2. Select the "User Center" at the main navbar of the console (on top right corner).

3. Locate the "Identity Verification" module on the console interface. The interface of this module may vary according to the status of the identity verification, and the following lists common interfaces. Click the icon below "Personal Authentication" to enter the authentication page.

4. Enter the personal information. Mainly including the name, ID No., full face and rear side photo of ID card.

5. Submit for review.
   Click "Submit for Approval" and wait for the results of manual review. At this point, the console page is updated to the following status.

Click to view the details, and view the status of the authentication application and authentication process.

6. Upon approval of the review, the console page is updated as follows at this point; meanwhile, you will receive a message of approval or a private message. You can click "Authentication by Face Swiping] to go to Personal Advanced Identity Verification, or click Enterprise Authentication for enterprise identity verification.

   7.The console page is updated to the following status if the review fails.

Click "View Details" to view the specific causes for failure to pass the authentication, and make personal primary identity verification again or change for Enterprise Identity Verification.

You will also receive the SMS and private message that you failed the authentication.

Personal Identity Verification on APP End

1. Download and open APP of Baidu AI Cloud, and enter the page of "My Center". Click the icon below "Failure to Pass the Identity verification Temporarily" to enter the authentication page.

2. Enter the personal information. Including the name, ID No., full face and rear side photo of ID card.

3. Submit for review. Click "Submit" and wait for the results of manual review. At this point, the page of "My Center" is updated to the following status "Under review... Please wait patiently".

4. "My Center" page is updated to the following status if the review succeeded. You can click "Authentication by Face Swiping Now" to go to Personal Advanced Identity verification; meanwhile, you also will receive the SMS and private message, indicating that you passed the review.

5. If you do not pass the review, "My Center" page is updated to the following status; click "Review Failed, Please Retry" to make personal primary identity verification.

At this point, you will also receive the SMS and private message that you failed the review, and can view the cause why you failed in the private message.

Personal Advanced Identity Verification

The advanced identity verification can only be conducted through Baidu AI Cloud APP: After passing Personal Primary Identity Verification, log in Baidu AI Cloud APP, click "Authentication by Face Swiping Now" on "My Center" page, select the privilege to allow camera access, and swipe the face for authentication as indicated, and get the results as to whether the authentication is passed in real time.

1. Download and open APP of Baidu AI Cloud, and enter the page of "My Center". Click "Authentication by Face Swiping Now" to enter the page of advanced identity verification. If the page shows "You failed the identity verification for the time being" or "review failed" and other status, please go to PC end or APP end to complete Personal Primary Identity verification.

2. If the privilege to allow camera access is not granted to APP, a prompt indicating to grant the access privilege to camera will appear, please select "Allowed" or "OK" and other options to allow the camera access (the prompt will be slightly different for different models).

3. Swipe the face for authentication according to the prompt on the screen. Please make sure to swipe the face for authentication in person, without covering your face or wearing a hat in case the authentication fails.

4. When the authentication is passed, it will automatically return and prompt "Living Body Recognition Succeeded". At this point, the status of "My Center" has been changed to "You have passed the personal identity verification successfully".

5. On PC end, the status has been updated to pass the personal advanced identity verification "You have completed the identity verification of the account successfully", and you can click "Enterprise Information Authentication" on PC end to go for enterprise identity verification.

Synchronize the Authentication Status from Baidu Account

If you use a Baidu account, you can also synchronize your personal identity verification status of your Baidu account directly to Baidu AI Cloud, or continue your personal or enterprise identity verification through Baidu AI Cloud.

1. If you have completed the personal advanced identity verification for Baidu account, when clicking personal authentication, you will enter the identity verification synchronization page. At this point, you need to click "OK" to synchronize the status of advanced identity verification to Baidu AI Cloud. After the synchronization, your account is also updated to the status that you have passed the personal advanced identity verification on Baidu AI Cloud.

2. If you have completed the personal primary identity verification for Baidu account, when clicking personal authentication, you will enter the identity verification synchronization page. At this point, you need to click "OK" to synchronize the status of primary identity verification to Baidu AI Cloud. After the synchronization, your account is also updated to the status that you have passed the personal primary identity verification on Baidu AI Cloud. You can continue to complete Personal Advanced Identity Verification through Baidu AI Cloud APP.

3. If you have not completed the personal Identity Verification for Baidu account, when clicking personal authentication, you will enter the page to fill in the primary identity information of Baidu account. After you enter the name and ID number and pass the review, your account is also updated to the status that you have passed the primary Identity Verification on Baidu AI Cloud. You can continue to complete Personal Advanced Identity verification through Baidu AI Cloud APP
