Expiration description

7 days, 3 days, 1 day before the expiration, and on the expiration day of the subscription dedicated line resources, the Baidu AI Cloud platform will send SMS, email, or in-site messages about the upcoming expiration of the dedicated line resources according to the reminder method you set. To avoid affecting your business, please renew the subscription in a timely manner after receiving the expiration reminder.

Description

You can set the message subscription and message notification methods. Before the expiration of the subscription resources, the Baidu AI Cloud platform will push expiration reminders according to your settings. For specific operations, please refer to the Message Center.

Introduction to expiration

The billing mode for the physical dedicated line port resource occupancy fee is subscription. Within 23 days after the expiration of the subscription port resources, the relevant resources will still be retained. During this period, you can perform renewal or deletion operations: After renewal, you can continue to use the port resource. After deletion, the port resource will be released immediately. If you do not perform any operation during the resource retention period, the port resource will be forcibly released after the retention period, and the relevant configurations and data of the port will be deleted and cannot be recovered.

Post-expiration handling: Services won't be suspended immediately upon expiration. If no renewal within 7 days, services will be suspended on the 7th day after expiration.

•After service suspension, data will be retained for 23 days. Data will be released on the 30th day after Express Tunnel product expiration and cannot be recovered. The system will send release notifications both 1 day before release and at the moment of release.

Expiration and unsubscription

Subscription port resources support unsubscription operations: Before the resource expires, you can apply for unsubscription on the Cost Center > Unsubscription Management page in the Baidu AI Cloud Console. After the resource expires, you can directly delete the resource in the Dedicated Line Connection Console to release the port resource.

Note

If there is any suspected abnormal or malicious unsubscription operation, the Baidu AI Cloud platform has the right to reject your unsubscription application.

Expiration and renewal

For the subscription port resources, 7 days, 3 days, 1 day before the expiration, and on the expiration day, the Baidu AI Cloud platform will send SMS, email, or in-site messages about the upcoming expiration of the port resources according to the reminder method you set. To avoid affecting your business, please renew the subscription in a timely manner after receiving the expiration reminder. For more renewal information, please refer to the Renewal Overview.

• Modification of port specifications is not supported during renewal.
• Renewal is supported within 23 days (inclusive) after expiration, and the start time of the renewal period is the original expiration time. Renewal is not supported after 23 days (exclusive) of expiration, and the relevant resources will be released.

Manual renewal

You can manually renew the resource from the time of successful resource purchase until the resource is released.

Operation steps

1. Sign in to the Physical Dedicated Line Console.
2. In the physical dedicated line list, click the Renew button in the Operation column of the physical dedicated line to be renewed. The page will jump to the Financial Center > Renewal page.
3. In the drop-down box at the bottom right corner of the Renewal page, select the renewal duration, and then click the Next button at the bottom right corner.
4. After confirming that the order information is correct, click Next.
5. Select the payment method and click Confirm Payment.
6. Make the payment according to the selected payment method. After submitting the payment information, the payment operation must be completed within the specified time; otherwise, the order will be cancelled.

Auto-renewal

The Baidu AI Cloud platform supports auto-renewal. After enabling auto-renewal, the system will automatically deduct the renewal fee from your account balance 7 days before the resource expires. If there are available vouchers in your account, the system will give priority to using the vouchers for payment.

• Check the Auto-Renewal option when paying the port resource occupancy fee.
• Convert manual renewal to auto-renewal after paying the port resource occupancy fee

Operation steps

1. Sign in to the Physical Dedicated Line Console.
2. In the physical dedicated line list, select the check box before the physical dedicated line for which you want to enable auto-renewal. Click the Auto-Renewal link at the top right corner of the page. The page will jump to the Financial Center > Renewal Management page.
3. On the Set Auto-Renewal tab of the Renewal Management page, click ··· > Enable Auto-Renewal under the Operation column of the resource to be renewed.
4. On the Auto-Renewal page, select the renewal cycle in the bottom left corner and click OK to comp`lete the renewal of the physical dedicated line instance.
