Dedicated Channel Instance Diagnosis
Dedicated channels are integrated with network diagnostic services (NDS), and support one-click instance-level diagnostics to detect configuration and operational status, with intelligent repair suggestions for identified anomalies. Diagnostics include: Health check, configuration, capacity overload, and cost diagnostics, with historical diagnostic details viewable. Prerequisites
- The user has created a dedicated channel instance. For detailed steps, refer to Create Dedicated Channel.
Instance diagnosis
- Sign in to the Dedicated Channel Console.
- On the Dedicated Channel page, find the target dedicated channel instance, click Instance Diagnosis under the diagnosis column, and then click the Initiate Diagnosis button in the pop-up window.
-
On the instance diagnosis panel, monitor the diagnostic progress, view statistical results, and access detailed diagnostics for the instance.
- Any abnormal diagnostic items will be displayed directly on this panel, allowing users to view detailed information about each issue.
- In the diagnostic item details section, select Show All Diagnostic Items to view all diagnostics supported for dedicated channels, enabling a comprehensive review.
- Users can also click to view historical diagnoses at the top of the Instance Health Diagnosis panel, which redirects to the dedicated channel's detailed diagnosis page in the Instance Diagnosis Console.
For more operations on dedicated channel instance diagnostics, refer to Instance Diagnostics.
- After reviewing the diagnostic information, you can click to close the panel.
Instance diagnostic items and details
Description Based on instance diagnostics, impact levels on business operations are color-coded as follows:
- Severe: Red
- Warning: Orange
- Normal: Green
The diagnostic items and descriptions supported by dedicated channels are as follows:
| Classification of diagnostic items | Diagnostic item | Description | Health check | Health check configurations | Check whether a health check is configured for the dedicated gateway.
| Note: This only assesses scenarios where dedicated channels are linked to dedicated gateways; loading dedicated channels onto the Cloud Smart Network is outside the scope of this check.
| Configuration diagnosis | Abnormal physical port status | Verify if the physical port status of the access device's physical dedicated line is abnormal. |
| Dedicated line direct-address reachability check | Check if the direct connection address of the dedicated channel is reachable via a ping test. | |
| BGP connection status check | Confirm whether the BGP neighbor status of the dedicated channel is set to "established.\ | |
| BFD session status check | Ensure the BFD session status of the dedicated channel is "established.\ | |
| Dedicated channel redundancy relationship check | Verify whether the dedicated channel has associations and if the bound dedicated gateway has either a primary/backup setup or an ECMP gateway. | |
| Physical port wiring inspection | Check the interconnection relationship between the ports at both ends of the physical dedicated line. | Ensure the link layer discovery protocol (LLDP) is enabled at both ends of the user equipment. LLDP is enabled by default in Baidu AI Cloud devices.|
| Cost diagnosis | Physical port debt check | Verify whether the physical port of the physical dedicated line is in a debt status. |
| Capacity overrun diagnosis | BGP route over-limit check | Check whether the number of BGP routes on dedicated channels using dynamic routing protocols exceeds the quota limits. |
| Dedicated gateway bandwidth limit check | Check if packet loss is occurring due to traffic exceeding the allowed quota. |
