Upgrade Background

The data transmission service (DTS) was upgraded during the period of 19:00-21:00 on April 28, 2021. To improve the product experience, the status of the data transmission task will also be upgraded. Thus, you can understand the up-to-date progress of the task for the first time and manage it efficiently.

Upgrade Overview

Data transmission task (data synchronization and migration): Add three new task statuses. For details, see the following content.

Upgrade Details

After the upgrade, the details of three new task statuses are as follows:

1. "Starting" status:

(1) This status is newly added and does not influence your historical tasks and running tasks.

(2) After you click the "Start" operation on the console, the task status changes to "Starting". After the start of the actual backend task, it changes to "Running".

2. "Finishing" status:

(1) This status is newly added and does not influence your historical tasks and running tasks.

(2) After you click the "Finish" operation on the console, the task status changes to "Finishing". After the actual backend task finishes, it changes to "Finish".

3. "Failed" status:

(1) This status is a new state, which influences your historical tasks, but does not influence the running task.

(2) Add a countdown to the failure time for tasks that are in the "Suspended" or "Abnormal running" status on the console. You can check the failure time of the task and conduct the appropriate processing accordingly.

If the task is in "Suspended" or "Abnormal running" status for less than 48 hours, keep the task status unchanged, start the task, configure the task, or delete the task. If the task is in "Suspended" or "Abnormal running" status for more than 48 hours, the task status will be updated to "Failed" and you can delete the task. If you start the task now, there is a risk of data loss, and the system stops the task.
