          Migration on Cloud

          When the user want to migrate the system to the Baidu AI Cloud, It is needed to migrate the database located in the local data center or other cloud vendors, or the self-built database of the Baidu Cloud Compute (BCC) to the Relational Database Service (RDS). You can complete the structure and full data migrations without affecting the operation of the original database. You can use incremental data later and verify the target database data, and switch business to RDS after the data is completely leveled.

          Remote Disaster Recovery

          To further improve the high security of RDS data, users can set up standby RDS in different regions and use synchronization channels to perform DDL and DML real-time incremental synchronization with the master RDS. Thus, you can obtain a highly available architecture for RDS remote disaster recovery.

          Local Disaster Recovery

          Users can use Baidu AI Cloud RDS as the disaster recovery database for the local database or other cloud business databases, and use the incremental migration channels to update the incremental data of local database to RDS in a real-time manner, thus improving data security.

          Cross-Region Read-only

          The cross-region read-only database can reduce the access pressure of the master database and reduce the read request delay of cross-region users. The users can use the synchronization channels to synchronize the data update between the cross-region read-only RDS and the master database in a real time manner, thus horizontally expanding the throughput of business and improving the business access experience.
