Access Control

With BLB created, you can configure the ACL or associated security group for the subnet of BLB to implement instance-level access control.

BLB Supports ACL

You can configure proper rules in the ACL for the BLB subnet to implement access control at the load balancer instance level. For the ACL usage, see ACL Operation Guide.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Baidu AI Cloud platform, select “Product Service > BLB”, and click the BLB name to enter the instance details page.
  2. Enable the ACL support button on the BLB instance details page. Tickethat is, the ACL rules for the BLB subnet apply to the BLB instance.
  3. Configure proper rules in the ACL for the BLB subnet.

BLB Supports Security Group

You can bind this security group to the corresponding BLB instance so that this BLB can implement the network access control feature according to the setting of security group rules.

Description:

  • BLB supports the security group in open beta test, and you may submit a Ticket to apply for it.

Prerequisites

Please confirm the following information before associating BLB instances to security groups:

  • You must already create a BLB instance successfully.
  • You can associate a BLB instance with one or more security groups according to your business requirements. Every BLB instance can be associated with a maximum of 10 security groups.
  • When a BLB instance is associated with a security group, the target security group and BLB must locate in the same private network.

Operation Steps

  1. Log in to the Baidu AI Cloud platform, select “Product Service > BLB”, and click the BLB name to enter the instance details page.
  2. Click “Security Group” in the left navbar, and select Bind Security Group.
  3. After binding the "Security Group" tab, you can view the security group rules applied currently.
