Sender Policy Framework

SPF is a technology that authenticates the sender of an email with an IP address and is a very efficient spam solution. The receiving party will first check the SPF record of the domain name to determine whether the sender's IP address is included in the SPF record. If yes, it is considered to be a correct email, otherwise it will be considered a forged email and returned. .

Simple Cache Service (SCS) is a high-performance, highly available distributed memory cache service.

Simple Email Service

SES provides users with convenient and reliable mail batch sending service. It supports email content spam filtering and virus detection, multiple statistical information query, multiple sender authentication, multiple access authentication and authorization, multiple email anti-counterfeiting identification standards, multiple email sending control strategies, and email sending simulation tests.

Simple Mail Transfer Protocol

SMTP is a transmission protocol used by emails to be transmitted from a client to a server or from one server to another, and it belongs to TCP/IP protocol family. It helps each computer find the next destination when sending or relaying a letter. It is the main protocol for sending e-mail on the Internet. Almost all Internet e-mail is sent and received by SMTP-based client and server programs.

Simple Message Service

It is built on a reliable cloud infrastructure, and is a convenient, efficient, stable, and reliable short message downlink service. It helps users to send short messages in a timely manner, and users only pay for usage amount.

Spark

It is an open source data analysis cluster computing framework, which is built on the basis of HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System). Spark provides in-memory cluster computing, allowing user programs to load data from cluster memory, so that memory can be used to the maximum and intermediate results are cached. Therefore, for some applications, the processing speed will be increased by more than 100 times compared to Hadoop MapReduce. As a result, Spark not only improves the utilization of cluster resources, but also increases the timeliness of jobs.

SSH

SSH is a more reliable protocol designed to provide security for remote login sessions and other network services. It allows users to log in to the master node through ssh to operate the cluster, and configure ssh agents to access various service monitoring pages.

It is a cloud service that provides Baidu AI Cloud credit users with temporary access credentials. With STS, a caller can be issued a temporary access credential with custom aging and access privilege.

Scaling group

A set of BCCs with the automatic scaling is called as a scaling group. Your use of automatic scaling usually starts from the creation of a scaling group.

Configuration of scaling group

The configuration of scaling group is used to define the basic properties of the scaling group, including the region, network, range of scalable nodes, etc. The configuration of scaling group always constrains all nodes in the scaling group. Therefore, the change of the configuration of the scaling group will affect the nodes which have existed and will be added in the future. One scaling group corresponds to one configuration of scaling group.

Review dimension

The video content review service extracts multi-dimensional materials from the audit object for review, including images, audio, voice, and image text.

Timestamp

Time point at which the data was generated.

Time series

"One metric+one field+n tags (n>=1)" defines a time series. If metric is wind, and field is speed, the data points with the tag of "model = ABC123", and "factory number = 1234567890" belong to the same time series.

Instance backup

A backup of the RDS instance, that is, a data snapshot is generated on the hot standby node and uploaded to BOS.

Manual backup

RDS supports users to manually back up the database instance.

Data point

"One metric+one field (optional)+one timestamp+n tags (n>=1)" uniquely defines a data point. When the written metric, field, timestamp, and n tags are all the same, the value written later will overwrite the value written first.

Database

A user can have multiple databases, and a database can write multiple "Data Points" for "Metrics".

Database storage

It is the underlying storage resource used to persistently store database data and logs.

Database migration

As business changes, databases also need to migrate from one environment to another as the business changes. Such as migrating from on-premises IDC to the cloud, or migrating from one cloud to another.

Database instance

A database instance is a database environment running in Baidu AI Cloud. A database instance can contain databases created by multiple users.

Database engine

The database engine is a core service for storing, processing, and protecting data. The database engine can be used to control access and process transactions quickly to meet the requirements of most applications that need to process large amounts of data. RDS currently supports MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgresql databases.

Database account

Before using the database, you need to create an account in the RDS instance. The database account consists of lowercase letters, numbers, and underscores. It begins with letters, ends with letters or numbers, containing 16 characters at maximum.

Data synchronization

Real-time data synchronization between two data sources. Data synchronization is applicable to scenarios such as local disaster recovery or remote disaster recovery.

Value

The corresponding value of the measurement, such as 56 ��C, 1,000r/s, etc. (without units in practice). In case of multiple fields, each field has a corresponding value. Different field supports different writing-in of data type. For a same field, if the value of a data type is written to, the same field is not allowed to write in other data type

Private network IP

Private network IP is specifically used in some local area networks. In other words, it is not unique on the network, and the public network cannot find the corresponding device through this private IP.
