Region represents individual territory and is an important concept of Baidu AI Cloud. Please see the Region Selection Instructions. Except for very few services (e.g., account service) that are globally effective, most services of Baidu AI Cloud are isolated based on regions. The services in every region are independently deployed and do not affect each other. The service data is shared via explicit copy. The ID must be used when API refers to any region.

For the overall service efficiency, the service region of BMR keeps consistent with the same of Baidu Object Storage (BOS). The BMR services in the Beijing region process the data stored on the BOS of Beijing region, the BMR services in Guangzhou region process the data stored on the BOS of Guangzhou region, et cetera.
