Create Core in the Cloud

Create Core
In the core list page, click Create core, and the following interface will pop up:
Fields are described as follows:
- Core name: It can neither be left blank nor be repeated.
- Core description: Description can be left blank.
- Application platform: Select the platform where the Baidu IntelliEdge local package is operated. For the application platforms which are currently supported, see Adaptation list.
- Authentication method: Edge core forces to use certificate authentication.
- Whether to use template: Select it based on the actual situation, and the default is No.
View Core
After a core is created successfully, click the core and enter the core details interface.
In the core details interface, you can view detailed information of the core, including:
- Core version

On-line status
- When a core is created in the cloud, but the core’s software operating package is not deployed to the edge device, the edge core is in off-line status.
- After the core’s software operating package is deployed to the edge device and connected to the cloud, the edge core is in on-line status.
- Core resources usage status, including memory, cpu and disk

Configuration of core applications
- An agent module will be available for the core which is initially created. The module is used for establishing connection between the edge device and the cloud and is not allowed to delete.

- On-line or off-line status of applications.
- Usage status of application resources, including cpu and memory.
