EasyEdge Overview
What is EasyEdge?
EasyEdge is an end side computing model generation platform developed by Baidu based on Paddle Mobile, and it can quickly generate the original deep learning model to adapt to the end side model of edge nodes and intelligent terminals.

- Upload model support framework: Caffe (ssd), PyTorch (0.4.0), TensorFlow (1.13) and PaddlePaddle (1.4.1)
- Upload model support network: 13 networks, such as VGG16, InceptionV3/V4, MobilenetV1, MobilenetV1-SSD, and RestnetV1.
- AI chip acceleration support: general ARM chip, general x86 chip, NVIDIA GPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon GPU/DSP, Intel Movidius VPU, Huawei HiSilicon NPU, and Apple A-Bionic

Why it integrates with EasyEdge?
The integration of BIE with EasyEdge is an important step for SkyEngineering-Intelligent Internet of Things platform to implement the "ABC Anywhere" strategy.
EasyEdge not only provides BIE with the edge model adaptation and model acceleration capability but also provides BIE with more model sources that can run on the edge side. It provides users with the full link service of model upload - model adaptation - model distribution - model operation" through the integration of BIE with EasyEdge.
In the future, BIE plans to integrate with Baidu AI services to provide users with the "model training - model generation" service, such as Paddlepaddle and EasyDL.
