Overview
Baidu AI Cloud File Storage (CFS) provides users with two flexible purchase methods, on-demand billing or annual and monthly prepaid (that is, storage package) billing.
The storage package service adopts a pre-paid method. By purchasing a storage package, you can reserve cloud storage resources in advance, and enjoy price discounts at the same time, which will help you reduce resource costs to a greater extent.
Currently, it supports creating a file system and then binding the purchased storage package. It also supports the creation and binding of a new file system when purchasing a storage package. Once the storage package is subscribed, consumption of bound file system will be deducted from the storage package first. The amount used within the specifications of the storage package is free of charge and the exceeding part will be charged according to the exceeding amount.
Storage Package Purchase
You can directly purchase the storage package on the "File System CFS > Storage Package" tab of the Baidu AI Cloud Management Console. When purchasing, follow the prompts to select the storage package's region, specifications, purchase duration, and effective time. The specific purchase interface and selection parameters are as follows:

| Specifications | Choose the storage package specifications you need to purchase according to your needs. If the actual storage capacity of the bound file system exceeds the capacity of the storage package, it will be billed by traffic. |
| Length of purchase | Choose the length of storage package you need to purchase according to your needs. After the storage package expires, it will be billed by traffic. |
| Opening time | Select the effective time of the storage package you need to purchase according to your needs. Support immediate entry into force and entry into force at specified time (accurate to the minute granularity). |

Performance-type storage packages are launched to areas such as North China-Beijing, North China-Baoding, East China-Suzhou, South China-Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Central China Financial Wuhan, and the price of storage packages will vary depending on the area of sale.

Special note
- The storage package deducts the hourly capacity billing of the bound file system. For example: If the user purchases a 1 TB storage package for 6 months and binds it to file system A , within 6 months after the storage package takes effective, the CFS service will deduct 1 TB storage capacity charge of file system A1 for that hour at the time of billing, effective on an hourly basis.
- A storage package can only be bound to one file system, but a file system can be bound to multiple storage packages, and the deduction capacity will be added accordingly.
- The CFS storage package does not support swapping file systems. If you delete the file system that is bound to the storage package, the corresponding storage package will become invalid.
Billing Rules
- The storage package is prepaid by means of one-off payment;
- Period of validity: When purchasing a storage package, you can choose to take effect immediately or at a specified time (accurate to the minute granularity);

During the effective period of the storage package, the cost of binding the storage package file system will first be deducted by the storage package. The usage in the storage package specification is free, and the excess part is billed by traffic. For example:
- The user currently has two 100 GB storage packages in effect and is bound to file system A. The current capacity of file system A is 180 GB. Since 180 GB<200 GB, the billing item is free;
- The user currently has two 100GB storage packages in effect and is bound to file system A. The current used capacity of file system A is 250 GB. Since 250GB> 200 GB, only the excess 50 GB will be charged by means of bill-by-traffic.
- If the storage package is opened during a certain hour, the storage package is deducted according to the time proportion for the next hourly bill, and will not be deducted as a whole hour completely.
- The user can purchase multiple storage packages, and multiple storage packages can be active at the same period of time.
- Official refund: A full refund is available if the user purchases the storage package within 7 days and has not used it (that is, the effective time set by the user has not been reached); if it has been used (effective) or exceeds 7 days, no refund is supported.
- Due reminders: Expired storage packages are immediately invalidated, and user reminders are sent 7 days before and when they expire.
