          Cloud File Storage

          Create File System

To use Baidu AI Cloud File System CFS service, you need to create a file system first.

Enter the "File System CFS > File System List" page of the Baidu AI Cloud Management Console, click "New File System" in the upper left corner of the page, and configure the parameters of the file system in the pop-up window to complete the file system creation. The specific purchase interface and selection parameters are as follows:

          Parameter Description
File system name The user sets the name of the file system to be created according to the requirements
Region That is, the region where the file system is created. To change it, you can click the region name in the upper left corner of the console to switch the region
Available zone The user sets the availability area of the file system according to the requirements. Each region contains a number of Availability Zones, and all Availability Zones in the region where CFS services have been deployed will be displayed. The file system can be mounted and used across availability zones, but it is recommended to choose the same availability zone as the virtual machine/container. In this case, the time extension caused by the cross availability zone can be avoided and the performance is best.
The types of protocol The user sets the support protocol type that needs to create the file system according to the needs. Currently CFS supports two protocol types: NFS and SMB
Custom capacity Users can enable or disable custom capacity according to their needs. The system automatically expands by default. After enabling custom capacity, the upper limit of the capacity must be manually adjusted.
Maximum capacity If the user enables "Custom Capacity", set the upper limit of the file system's capacity (the maximum capacity of a single file system) as needed. When the actual used capacity reaches this value, the file system cannot be written to and its capacity needs to be changed.

After the user has set the various parameter configurations of the file system, click "OK", and the file system is created successfully.

After the file system is created, you need to create mount targets to use the file system.
