Overview

Baidu AI Cloud Log Service (BLS) offers the logshipper feature, which facilitates the transfer of LogStore data to other cloud storage services in user-defined formats, addressing advanced needs such as complex data processing, analysis, and archival storage. Simply configure it in the log service console to enable data delivery.

Delivery logs to Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS)

Log service can deliver contents from LogStores to BOS to meet other scenario requirements, for example:

• User access statistics: Push user access logs to LogStores in real time to enable hourly and daily PV/UV calculations and visualizations. These logs can later be transferred to BOS and integrated with Baidu AI Cloud MapReduce for advanced computations, such as incremental analyses and year-over-year or month-over-month comparisons.
• Log archiving: Enable users to transfer LogStore data to the BOS service via logshippers for cost-effective, long-term archival of large volumes of data.

Prerequisites

1. For specific operation of activating Baidu AI Cloud log service (BLS), refer to Baidu AI Cloud Environment Preparation.
2. Create a LogStore, set up transmission tasks, and ensure log data collection is successful.
3. Activate Baidu AI cloud object storage (BOS) service. For detailed activation method, please refer to the BOS Service Activation document.
4. Verify that the current account has the necessary permissions to create or configure logshippers.
