          Tag Management

          Overview

          Baidu AI Cloud provides tag management. By the addition of tags to each cloud resource, the resources can be quickly classified, identified, and managed. Baidu AI Cloud supports the tag management of VPC instances, subnets, security groups, NAT gateways and VPN gateways. The following description is made by taking VPC as an example.

          Before using tags, you need to know:

          • Tags: Each tag consists of a key and a value, and the tag (key + value) is unique.
          • Single and batch: Support setting tags for individual resources, and can also create tags for cloud resources in batches.
          • Sort and search: Support resource search and sorting by tags (keys and values).
          • Cross-product tagging: Different products can add the same tag.

          Limit

          Each user can create up to 200 tags.

          Add Tag

          Users with more VPC can add tag to VPC instance according to the project and scene need to classify, identify and manage instances.

          Operation steps

          1.Log in to the management console and select "Product Service > Network > Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)". 2.Click "instance" in navigation bar on the left to enter instance list page. 3.Check one or more instances and click "Edit Tags" in the action bar. 4.In the pop-up dialog box, enter the custom tag key and tag value. Note that the "key" must be unique, and the value can be empty and not filled in. 5.Click "OK" to finish creating tags.

          Note: When creating instance tags in batches, you cannot view the individual instance tags that have been added.

          Tag sorting

          You can sort the tag of cloud resources in console, and click the column name "Tag" for sorting.

          Tag search

          Execute tag search by combining the filter criteria to obtain an accurate VPC result. You can screen by tag key and value:

          Delete tag

          You can delete the created tag if it is no longer used.

          1. Click "Tag Management" in the left navigation bar to enter the tag list page, select a tag name, and click "Delete" in the action bar.
          2. In the pop-up dialog box, click OK to delete the tag. The tag cannot be recovered if it is deleted. The system automatically unbinds the previous resources.

          Resource Billing

          Resource billing is a function to record the consumption-related data of the life cycle of each resource, which is convenient for users to view the consumption data of resources and products in the dimension of resources.

          Operation steps

          1. Log in to the management console and enter "Product Service > Network > Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)".
          2. Click "Tag Management" on the left navigation bar to enter the tag list page.
          3. Check a tag and click "View Bill" in the action bar.
          4. Enter the resource billing page and select the month for which you want to view the bill. The consumption information of the current tag resource will be displayed. You can also perform tag search by combining filter criteria. You can select consumption details for other tags by tag keys and values, and download related information.

            Note: It also supports searching by instance ID, and you can view the consumption information of the instance.

          5. Click View Details to view the instance ID, product name, and bill amount. An instance might have the case in which prepayment and post payment both exist, so when you select to view instance detail, postpaid bill and prepaid bill are displayed by tab.

            Note: Because prepayment is one time, only consumption information is displayed in the month of creation, while the post payment is the ongoing account, consumption information is displayed from the month of creation to period of use.
