This document mainly provides explanations and descriptions of related names appearing in the BLS log service.
LogStore
LogStore (log store) is the basic resource for BLS to store, query and analyze logs. Users can create multiple LogStores, and the same area does not allow duplicate names.
LogStream
LogStream (log stream) is used to identify the source of data. It represents that log records are continuously generated by a certain data source. You can use hostname, IP, domain name, virtual machine instance ID, etc. as LogStream. A LogStore can contain any number LogStream.
LogRecord
LogRecord (log record) is the smallest data unit processed by BLS. It consists of timestamp and message. The details are as follows:
- timestamp: Mark the time when the log record was generated
- message: Contents of uploaded logs
BLS supports batch upload of LogRecord to save unnecessary requests and improve throughput.
FastQuery
FastQuery (fast query) users save frequently used SQL analysis statements to simplify user operations.
