Expiration reminders and handling

  • Expiration reminders:

    • For free resolution services bundled with Baidu AI Cloud domain names, the expiration date matches the domain name's expiration date. No separate expiration notification for the cloud resolution service will be sent. If the domain name is renewed, the free resolution service will be automatically extended.
    • For external domains using free or paid resolution services, expiration reminder notifications will be sent 30 days, 7 days, and 1 day before expiration.
  • Post-expiration handling:

    • The resource renewal grace period lasts 90 days. Once 90 days pass, the resources will be permanently deleted.
    • External free resources can be manually deleted. However, the free resolution service bundled with Baidu AI Cloud domain names cannot be manually deleted. Paid resources can only be deleted automatically after requesting a service refund.

Resource deletion

  • Auto deletion:

    • The grace period for resource renewal is 90 days. After this period, the resource will be automatically deleted.
  • Manual deletion:

    • External free resources can be manually deleted. However, the free resolution service bundled with Baidu AI Cloud domain names cannot be manually deleted. Paid resources can only be deleted automatically after requesting a service refund.

Service refunding

  • Paid DNS supports refund requests submitted via tickets, with fees for the consumed service period deducted.
  • Promotional Product - Discount Edition is not eligible for refunds.

  • Private zone configurations are kept free of charge for 7 days; if not recharged within this period, the configurations will be released.
  • The system will send a deletion notification one day prior to, and at the time of, deletion. Once deleted, private zone configurations and data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
