          Manage Transmission Tasks

          View Transmission Tasks

          1. After the transmission task has been successfully created, enter the “Product Services> Data Analysis> Baidu Log Service-Transmission task List” page.
          2. Display all information such as status and running time of transmission tasks by default. You can select the "Running", "Exception", and "Paused” corresponding to the “Status” to screen transmission tasks in different status.
          3. Click the name of transmission task to enter the details page for the transmission task and view the following information about the transmission task:

            • Basic information: View task ID, task name, creation time and label.
            • Source configuration information: View the information such as source directory of logs.
            • Destination configuration information: view information such as destination directory of the log.
            • List of CVM Server: to view the operation status of the CVM Server of the current transmission task.
            • Statuses: view the status of CVM Server, such as “registered”, “running”, “lost”, “unauthorized” and “exception”, all supporting status filter.
          • IP address: Means the IP address corresponding to the CVM Server.
          • Data already transmitted: Means the total log data already transmitted in the current task.
          • Exception information: If the CVM Server encounters exception while performing the transmission task, view the exception error information here to troubleshoot the task problem.
          • Add or remove a CVM server: To add a CVM server or remove existing CVM server. After the CVM server is removed, the historical information of the CVM server isn’t maintained. When the same transmission task is redeployed to the CVM server, the transmitted data is recounted from zero.
          • Download: To download the information of all collectors for the current task to facilitate off-line view and management.

          Edit a Transmission Task

          If you need to modify the transmission task that has been successfully created, refer to the following operation:

          1. Open the page “ Product service> Data Analysis> Baidu Log Service-Transmission task list” to view all transmission tasks.
          2. Find the transmission task that needs modification, and click the "Edit" button corresponding to the specific task to enter the page “Modification of transmission task”.
          3. Edit the parameters in need of modification. Edition of the two parameters, i.e., "Source type" and "Log delivery destination", is not allowed.
          4. Click the "Edit” to have the edited parameters validated.

          Pause or Restart a Transmission Task

          1. Open the page “ Product service> Data Analysis> Baidu Log Service-List of transmission task” to view all transmission tasks.
          2. Select the transmission task that needs to be paused, click the "Pause" button, and then click "OK".
          3. For the transmission task that has been paused, you can restart the task. Select the transmission task that needs to be started and click the "Start" button.

          Note: Assuming that the valid time range of files you set when creating the transmission task is 1 day and you start the task again after the task has been paused for three days, the system collects the log generated 1 day before the task is started again and after being restarted. The logs stored one or two days after the task is paused aren’t transmitted.

          Delete a Transmission Task

          To delete the transmission task that has been successfully created, refer to the following operation:

          1. Open the page “ Product service> Data Analysis> Baidu Log Service-Transmission task list” to view all transmission tasks.
          2. Select the transmission task that needs to be deleted, click the "Delete" button, and then click "OK".
