Create Enterprise Edition Instance

Updated at:2025-11-03

Before utilizing the Cloud Container Registry Enterprise Edition, create an Enterprise Edition instance to store and distribute your cloud-native artifacts.

Prerequisites

  • Register a Baidu AI Cloud Account and complete Certification.
  • The Cloud Product BOS required by Cloud Container Registry Enterprise Edition has been activated to store your image data. For detailed operations, refer to Activate BOS Service.

Operation steps

  1. Sign in to the Baidu AI Cloud official website and enter the management console.
  2. Select “Product Services - Cloud Native - Cloud Container Registry (CCR)”, and click Create Instance in the instance list page.
  3. Complete the following configuration on the Create Instance page, and click Next.
ConfigMap Required/Optional Configuration
Region Required Select the region where you wish to deploy the instance. Once created, the region cannot be changed. Choose based on the location of your container cluster.
Instance specification. Required Instances of different specifications support different resource quotas and functions. Select instances based on requirements. For details, refer to [Product Introduction](CCR/Product introduction/Product Introduction.md).
Instance name Required Provide a custom name for the instance at the time of creation. This name cannot be modified afterward.
Backend storage Required When creating an instance, the system will by default create a Baidu AI Cloud Object Storage (BOS) bucket under your account to store data such as images within the instance, incurring storage and traffic fees. For details, refer to the BOS Billing Guide. Please avoid directly deleting the bucket; otherwise, the data hosted by the instance cannot be recovered.
Resource labels Optional Bind Baidu AI Cloud tags to newly created instances for resource categorization and management. Refer to the Tag function for specific settings.
Resource group Optional Resource group enables categorization of cloud resources by different dimensions. You may select an existing resource group or go to the console to create a resource group. For details, refer to Resource Group.
Purchase period Optional Choose a duration of 1 to 9 months or 1 to 3 years. Additionally, you can select whether to enable auto-renewal upon expiration.
  1. On the Confirm Order page, confirm and check I have read and agree to the Baidu AI Cloud Online Ordering Agreement, and then click the payment button.
  2. Review the total cost of the instance at the bottom of the payment page. If there are no issues, follow the prompts to complete the payment.
  3. You can find that the instance status is Starting on the Instance List page. After approximately 10 minutes, the status will change to Running. When the instance status changes to Running, it indicates the instance is created successfully and is available.

    Description

    • If the instance purchase takes too long time or an abnormal status is displayed, contact us via Submit Ticket.
  4. For specific login procedures and image registry management after successful creation, refer to Manage Image Registry.
