CCR Personal Edition Announcement on Closing New Entry

Baidu AI Cloud Container Registry (CCR) Personal Edition product will close the new console portal for the Personal Edition on April 25, 2024. After closure, the CCR Personal Edition will no longer support namespace creation or image migration function. Existing namespaces in the personal edition will remain unaffected, and the personal edition is free with usage limits. For details, please refer to Personal Limits. No SLA or related compensation is committed. For namespace creation or image migration functions, use CCR enterprise edition instances. CCR enterprise edition instances provide enterprise-grade exclusive image security managed services, supporting container images, Helm Chart, and other cloud-native artifacts for lifecycle management, as well as efficient multi-region and multi-scenario artifact distribution. The enterprise edition will be continuously improved and updated to help enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency in business production.

Adjustment details

1. Navigate to the Cloud Container Registry (CCR) personal edition, and select Namespace from the left navigation bar. Creating new namespaces is not supported in the namespace list, while existing namespaces can be used normally.
2. Navigate to the Cloud Container Registry (CCR) personal edition, select Image Migration from the left navigation bar. Note that creating new migration task or image registry is no longer supported, meaning that external images cannot be migrated to personal edition instances. However, images already migrated to personal edition instances remain unaffected.

Description

• This change solely restricts new creation of personal edition services. Existing personal edition services will remain free, subject to usage limits.
• This change will not impact the ability of Container Service CCE or other products using personal edition image registries to continue accessing images stored in personal edition registries.
