What is organization
Organizations generally see small and medium-sized enterprises, institutions, schools, departments or departments of large companies. Sugar will charge according to the organization (an organization is a Sugar instance you purchased, which is completely isolated and irrelevant between the organization and the organization). A user can belong to multiple organizations, and there are multiple users under an organization. Each user must be mounted under the organization to use Sugar. It should be noted that for Sugar deployed privately, the system will have only one organization, and all users belong to this organization.
When using Sugar for the first time, the user will create an organization by default with the name of [*** organization], and the user will become the administrator of the organization by default.
At the organization level, there are only two kinds of users: Organization administrator and ordinary user. Only an organization's administrator can manage the organization. Each organization can have multiple organization administrators. The organization's management work includes the following:
- Update organization information, such as organization name, organization logo, and whether all users are allowed to create space freely
- Add and remove members of the organization, including setting other users as administrators of the organization
- Manage all spaces in the organization
The unified entrance of organization management is in the upper right corner of "space square" (of course, only the administrator of the organization can see the entrance button):
