Use Restrictions

If the physical express tunnel is used to achieve traffic interconnection, the following requirements should be met:

• After the construction of the physical express tunnel and the configuration of express tunnel gateways are completed, if traffic interconnection of the two ends is required, a routing entry pointing to the peer network should be configured in the routing table at both ends, and the next hop of the local VPC routing table should point to the corresponding express tunnel gateway;
• For one VPC, one channel of one physical express tunnel can only be connected to one express tunnel gateway in this VPC;
• The local access points of the express tunnel gateway and the physical express tunnel shall be in the same region;
• The express tunnel peer network and the local VPC CIDR cannot overlap.

Apply for a Physical Express Tunnel

Note: Users are eligible to apply for a physical express tunnel only after passing the enterprise certification,

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Console, select "Product Services > Express Tunnel" to enter the list page of the physical express tunnel.
2. Click Apply for Physical Express Tunnel to enter the page for applying for a physical express tunnel.

3. Fill in the configuration information.

   • Express tunnel name: Naming rules should meet the following conditions, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters of -, _, /, .. The name should start with a letter and have a length of 1 - 65 characters.
   • Access point: Local access points of the physical express tunnel include: Beijing Haidian access point, Beijing Yizhuang access point, Guangzhou Nansha access point, Shenzhen access point, and Nanjing access point.
   • Access point: The local physical ET access points include Beijing Haidian access point, Beijing Yizhuang access point, Guangzhou Nansha access point, Shenzhen access point and Nanjing access point.
   • Physical port specifications: Support the port speed at 1G/10G/100G. The port module only supports optical ports. For the port speed at less than 1G, please select port specifications at 1G.
   • Physical ET providers: Select an eligible physical ET provider with the qualification A26 and A14, such as China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile, and others providers in China.
   • Peer address: The address of the access point of peer user IDC of the physical express tunnel.
   • Bandwidth: The range of the bandwidth of the physical express tunnel is: 2Mbps-100000Mbps.
4. Fill in the contact information as required and select the time to purchase the physical express tunnel, then click to submit the application.
5. After the application is submitted, the Baidu AI Cloud's service staff will check the information you submitted within 1 to 3 working days. If the check is passed, enter the [Physical Express Tunnel Construction](#Physical Express Tunnel Construction) process. If the check failed, enter the [Resubmit Application Information](#Resubmit Application Information) process.

Resubmit Application Information

If you didn't pass the check after the submission of the application for the physical express tunnel, the Baidu AI Cloud's service staff would inform you of the reason for the failure. Please modify as required and resubmit the application information. The operations are as follows:

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Console, select "Product Services > Express Tunnel" to enter the list page of the physical express tunnel.
2. Select the name of the physical express tunnel that failed the check, and click "Resubmit" in the operation bar to enter the page for applying for a physical express tunnel.

3. Follow the staff's prompts on the application page to modify the application information. After completing the modification, click "Submit Application" to complete the resubmitting.

   Note: Staff of Baidu AI Cloud will check your application within five working days.

Physical Express Tunnel Construction

After the check is passed, the Baidu AI Cloud's service staff will assist you in completing the steps of payment and express tunnel construction and finally complete delivery of the physical express tunnel.

Create Express Tunnel Channel

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Console, select "Product Services > Express Tunnel" to enter the list page of the physical express tunnel.
2. Select the physical express tunnel that passed the check, and click the physical express tunnel name to enter the express tunnel details page.
3. In the channel list items, click "Create Channel List" to enter the menu page of "Create Express Tunnel Channel".

4. Enter the information:

   • Channel name:
   • Assigned to: You can select this account or other accounts * When you select other accounts, there will be a pop-up to fill in the account ID and Enter the ID of other accounts here.
   • VLAN ID: User-side ID information, such as the range from 2 to 4094.
   • Cloud network interconnection IP: User-side IP;
   • IDC interconnection IP: Same as the cloud network interconnection IP;
   • Cloud Network Connection IP: Enter the cloud side IP.
   • IDC connection IP: Enter the IP on the user side.
   • Routing protocol: Support both the static and dynamic routings. You can select one kind of route protocol only. The dynamic routing supports BGP.
   • Routing parameters: Network segment routing on the IDC side;
   • If you select the dynamic routing, enter BGP ASN and BGP key, i.e., BGP AS number and key on the user side.
   • Description: Fill in the description of this channel.
5. After completing the information, click "OK" to enter the manual check process. If the check is passed, the channel is successfully created. If the check is failed, the user will be notified by phone of the information that needs to be modified. The user needs to modify the information and resubmit the application.

Delete Express Tunnel Channel

1. Log into Baidu AI Cloud Console, select "Product Services > Express Tunnel" to enter the list page of the physical express tunnel.
2. Select the physical express tunnel that passed the check, and click the physical express tunnel name to enter the express tunnel details page.
3. In the channel list, click the "Delete" button in the operation bar to delete the corresponding express tunnel channel.

Remove Physical Express Tunnel

To remove the physical express tunnel, you need to submit the application by [Ticket](http://ticket.bce.baidu.com/? _=1524130982530/#/ticket/create), and we will arrange staff to assist you in completing the removal.
