Baidu AI Cloud International Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to accessing and using Baidu AI Cloud International (URL: intl.cloud.baidu.com ) (hereinafter referred to as "Baidu AI Cloud International"), and the Baidu AI Cloud products and services (hereinafter referred to as "cloud services") provided by Baidu AI Cloud International entity (Baidu Holdings Limited, hereinafter "we" or "Baidu AI Cloud"). For terms not defined in this privacy policy, their meanings shall be consistent with the definitions in the "Baidu AI Cloud International Terms of Use".
This privacy policy details how we collect, use, transfer, retain, protect, and disclose the personal data you provide while using Baidu AI Cloud International and/or our cloud service, as well as the personal data of your customers or end users. At the same time, this policy also outlines your rights regarding access to and correction of personal data.
Through Baidu AI Cloud International, we provide a wide range of cloud services primarily targeting business institutional users. If you register an account using your organization's email address and purchase or use our cloud services, the domain name owner associated with that organizational email address and/or the organization may have monitoring or control rights over your Baidu AI Cloud International account, including access, processing, and/or control of your personal data, communications, and documents. Your organization's use of cloud services may be subject to its own rules or policies, and you should direct all privacy inquiries related to such rules or policies to your organization's administrator. In such cases, we assume no responsibility for the privacy or security practices of the institution.
Our customers (i.e., registered users of Baidu AI Cloud) may use cloud services to develop or manage their own services and products for their end users. In such cases, any information collected or processed by Baidu AI Cloud is handled on behalf of the customer, and the customer retains control over the collection and use of such information. There is no direct relationship between us and the end users of customers. Therefore, end users shall direct all privacy inquiries (e.g., requests to access, correct, modify, or delete personal data) to the Baidu AI Cloud customer who provides them with services or products. We assume no responsibility for the privacy or security of our customers.
1.Collection of Personal Data
1.1 Information Required for Registration
When registering as a Baidu AI Cloud International user and/or purchasing cloud services, individuals or representatives of commercial entities will be required to complete a registration form. Information required in the registration form includes email address, mobile phone number, country/region, preferred language, first name and last name, contact address, etc. Additionally, you may provide us with other optional contact information in your account profile, such as sub-account email addresses and alternative phone numbers.
1.2 Records of Service-Related Activity and Collection of Transaction Information
If you use Baidu AI Cloud International and/or certain cloud services for legal and/or commercial purposes, we will record details of your activities, including any purchases or usage of our products and services. When you make purchases or conduct other online transactions through Baidu AI Cloud International, we will collect transaction-related information, including but not limited to the type and specifications of cloud services, pricing details, and any trade dispute/complaint records.
1.3 Collection of Customer Service Information
When you contact our customer support, sales, or other departments, we may record the communication and collect additional information to verify your identity for security and to ensure the quality of customer service.
1.4 Provision of Payment Information
If you purchase our cloud services online through Baidu AI Cloud International, you may need to provide our payment service provider directly with information related to payment instruments (e.g., credit cards), including the payment instrument issuer, number, security code, and expiration date.
1.5 Mandatory Information
Certain categories of data are essential for us to provide cloud services, such as the user's first and last name, address, phone number, and email address. When collecting such data, we will specify its categories. If you fail to provide any or sufficient mandatory information, we may be unable to complete the registration or provide you with cloud services.
1.6 Records of Purchase and Browsing Activity and Collection of Statistical Information
We will record users' purchasing and browsing activities on Baidu AI Cloud International, including but not limited to Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, browsing patterns, and purchasing patterns. Meanwhile, we automatically collect statistical information related to Baidu AI Cloud International and its visitors, including but not limited to IP addresses, browser software, OS, software and hardware attributes, pages viewed, session count, and unique visitors.
1.7 Collection of Additional Information and Acquisition of Third-party Information
We may occasionally collect additional information from you, such as copies of identity documents. Additionally, we will obtain your information from third parties, which will be used for risk control, fraud prevention, and compliance procedures. For instance, we may collect payment-related information from third parties and combine it with your information we collect for fraud prevention and risk control.
Purposes of Collecting, Retaining, Using, Disclosing, and Transferring Personal Data
2.1 User Registration
The primary purpose for which we collect, retain, use, and disclose personal data is to process your application for user registration, assign you a user ID for Baidu AI Cloud International, and subsequently maintain and manage your registration information.
2.2 Customer Service and Communication
To provide you with quality customer service, we will utilize your personal information to respond to your inquiries, feedback, claims, or disputes, thereby ensuring the timely resolution of issues encountered during your use of our services.
2.3 Provision of Cloud Services
We will collect and use personal information to provide you and/or your end users with cloud services from Baidu AI Cloud International, meeting your business needs in cloud computing.

When you make purchases and/or subscriptions, we will use your personal information to process related transactions for their smooth execution.

At the same time, it is necessary to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company against any claims or potential claims made against us or our parent companies, shareholders, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
2.8 Risk Control and Compliance Screening
To ensure the legality and security of company operations, we will perform risk control, legal compliance, and sanction screening, during which we may use the personal information provided.
2.9 Screening for Illegal Activities
We will use personal information for screening and inspection to prevent and detect illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious activities, ensuring the sound development of the platform and protecting user interests.
2.10 Provision of Marketing and Promotional Materials
With your specific consent, we may use your first name, last name, telephone number, residential address, email address, and fax number (which may contain your personal information) to provide you with notifications, surveys, and other promotional materials related to the internet technology products and services we offer on Baidu AI Cloud International, which may help you stay informed about our latest products and services.
We will not provide your personal information to any third party for their promotional purposes.
You may request us to cease promotions at any time, and you may notify us through the methods listed in Section 7.5 of this privacy policy.
3. Disclosure of Personal Information

5. Security Measures
5.1 Personal Information Protection Measures
We actively implement commercially reasonable measures to protect personal information you provide to us. We employ multiple security technologies when transmitting personal information related to registration and payment. Meanwhile, we implement identity, credential, and access management measures to secure the transmission, thereby preventing security breaches and unauthorized access.
5.2 Access Restrictions
Access permissions to your personal information and other information are carefully restricted, allowing only personnel who require such access for work purposes to operate, thereby maximizing the security of your personal information.
5.3 Risk Disclosure of Data Transmission Security

6.1 Purpose and Prerequisites for Personal Information Retention We will retain your personal information for the purposes stated in this privacy policy, provided we have an ongoing legitimate business need. For example, to provide you with the services you have requested or to comply with applicable legal, tax, or accounting requirements. In certain circumstances, even after our service has ended, we may still need to retain your personal information for legal reasons.
6.2 Personal Information Retention Period The specific retention period for personal information is not fixed but depends on multiple factors, including the nature of the information, the purpose for which we collect and process it, and the nature of relevant legal requirements.

Deletion in accordance with regulations: Baidu AI Cloud will delete your personal information under the provisions of this privacy policy.
Deletion measures: When deleting personal information, we shall adopt standard commercially reasonable measures to ensure the information is nearly irrecoverable or non-duplicated. The specific deletion method will vary depending on the data being deleted, the manner of its collection and storage, as well as the circumstances of your communication with us.
Electronic document deletion: For electronic documents or files containing personal information, we will employ technical methods to delete such information, rendering it nearly irrecoverable or irretrievable, or ensuring that the data can no longer identify individuals.
Non-electronic document processing: For non-electronic documents or files containing personal information, we will process them by shredding, incineration, or a combination of both.

You have the right to request access to your personal information held by us (or on our behalf), as well as the right to request correction or deletion of such personal information. 7.2 Inquiry Guidance in the Processor Role When acting as a personal information processor, we have no direct relationship with individuals whose personal information we process. If any individual needs to access, correct, modify, or delete inaccurate data, they should submit the relevant inquiry to Baidu AI Cloud's client (i.e., the data controller).
7.3 Update o Email Preference Settings You may receive emails from us. If you no longer want to receive such information, you may update your email preferences via the "unsubscribe" link in the emails we send you or in your member profile settings.
7.4 Protection of Minors' Personal Information We do not intentionally collect personal information from minors (i.e., individuals under 18 years of age). If a minor provides us with personal information, their parent or guardian may contact us on behalf of the minor to request that we cease further collection, use, and/or disclosure of the minor's personal information, and delete any personal information we may hold related to the minor.
