This guide is used to help users quickly understand how to use a DCC in the Baidu AI Cloud’s Management Console.

By integrating the Baidu AI Cloud’s leading cloud computing and virtualization technology, the Dedicated Cloud Compute (DCC) aims to provide users with exclusively physical server resources and achieve physical isolation from other public cloud resources.

Dedicated instance:

It refers to a virtual machine which is created with the virtualized system on a DCC instance. The user can freely create a dedicated instance under the consent of the dedicated host’s resources. A dedicated instance is equivalent to an independent BCC instance.

Note: A DCC can be virtualized into multiple dedicated instances upon your needs. Before a dedicated instance is created, you should purchase a DCC.

Account registration and identity verification

Before a DCC is used, you need to register on the Baidu AI Cloud, and complete individual or enterprise identity verification:

• Register an Account on the Baidu AI Cloud.
• Complete Identity Verification on the Baidu AI Cloud.
